Travelling from Bellingham to Vancouver
Lotte and Noel have had lots of experience with this trip ;) Here are her recommendations!
Amtrak Cascades (Price: ~$18 USD) - Highly Recommend!
Note: This is the price for a train ticket recently, however we have seen it get up to $50-60. Make sure to compare prices with the busses as well.
Vancouver drop off is at Pacific Central Station (50 min bus ride or 20 minute drive from The Johannessen’s)
Border customs will happen at the station once you get there
Bellingham pick up is at Fairhaven Terminal
There are washrooms and a cafe onboard
Charging ports are available on the train
Travel time is approximately 2 hours
Greyhound (Price: $15-30 USD)

When you arrive at the border, you will all be asked to walk off the bus with all of your belongings and walk through a customs inspection. This usually takes 30 minutes. Then you will be able to walk back onto the bus.
